Jasmine Gidwani and Sahil Chaudhari had always seen their wedding as a close-knit affair, a joy that was meant to be shared by those near and dear to them. Bangkok felt like the perfect place to celebrate their union without a care in the world.

Before you tied the knot, how did you envision your dream wedding? Which parts of that vision made it into the big day?

We always wanted something intimate with our family and close friends, and we made sure it happened that way.

What made you decide to celebrate your wedding in Thailand, and why did this particular venue feel like the one?

Thailand has always been close to my heart; that’s the one country I’ve visited the most, and it was my 13th time when our wedding happened. The staff there are very welcoming and kind, and we really appreciated their hospitality. The golf view was the highlight.

Was there a special moment that felt uniquely Thai during your celebration — perhaps through music, décor, or the welcome experience?

The welcome has always been great, but the décor was amazing! It felt surreal, especially for the Pheras; walking towards the mandap felt like a dream, but it was real. Moreover, our planners were simply amazing and accommodating.

Looking back, which moments from the wedding truly stayed with you?

Every moment was special because we had our close people around us. Loved every event!

Did you have any theme(s) for your wedding event?

We didn’t have any particular theme per se. We just wanted our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy every moment without worrying about anything.

Why would you recommend Thailand as a wedding destination for other couples?

Thailand is great because of the amazing hospitality and beautiful venues. Food is out of this world.

What was a surprising element or what was the most creative thing that you did at your wedding (e.g. a personalised drink, unusual dish, etc.)

We really enjoyed After You, so we had them come for our engagement night, and everyone loved the dessert. The decor of our Pheras was outstanding: the colors, the flowers, and the view were perfect!
