About
Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort is a five-star riverside retreat set along the Kok River, blending contemporary design with elements of Northern Thailand’s Lanna heritage. Its 159 spacious rooms and suites, each with a private balcony, provide accommodation amid tropical gardens and century-old rain trees.
Wedding celebrations can unfold across several indoor and outdoor settings, including the riverside lawn, garden spaces, Sukkaseam Deck, and the impressive Utopia Ballroom. Spanning more than 1,000 sqm, the ballroom accommodates up to 1,100 guests for a standing reception or 1,000 for a seated dinner, making it one of Northern Thailand’s largest hotel event venues.
Expansive function spaces, professional event planning, personalised menus, and a scenic riverside setting make the resort particularly well suited to large Indian weddings and multi-day destination celebrations
